SHAKER BALLS & RATTLES
(Ages 18+)
Learn to use the pinch pot and slump mold techniques to design unique shaker
balls used as a potters calling card. Finish your ball or rattle in underglaze. Then
participate in a southwestern pottery tradition where potters exchange shaker
balls and rattles!

MUSHROOM BELL CHIMES

In this workshop, create hanging bell chimes in the shape of a mushroom. Craft 2-3

BEGINNER ADULT WHEEL

Learn to use the pottery wheel to create your own projects. Students will be
introduced to fundamentals of attaching, centering, throwing and trimming basic

CONTINUING ADULT WHEEL

This wheel class is for those who have advanced past the beginners class and can
successfully attach/center 2-3 lb of clay independently. Students will be able to
work independently on the wheel with instructor guidance. Previous beginner
class or instructor consent required to join the class.

POTTERY OPEN STUDIO
(Ages 18+)
This is an open studio setting for individuals with previous pottery experience.
Instructor consent to join the class is required. Students will have an opportunity
to work independently on the wheel and hand-building to create their own unique
pieces. Class includes all supplies, clay, tools, glaze and electric kiln finishing.
Looking for extra studio time? Sign up for the extended hour of class. Participants
must be enrolled in the two-hour class in order to register for the extra hour. Space
is limited so sign up early.
