This can help bring around a state of calmness and well-being; it can relax the body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Cllinical studies have shown that mindfulness, can bring many physical, psychological, and social benefits. Participants can experience reduced worry, stress, fear, anger, anxiety and depression, improvements in attention, blood pressure, chronic pain. Using guided imagery to create a state of deep relaxation and acceptance, we tune into what we experience in the moment rather than rehashing the past (anger) or imagining the future (worry and fear). We pay attention to our thoughts and feelings without judgment, knowing that there is no 'right or 'wrong' way to think or feel in any given moment. An audio connection via phone or computer to Zoom is all that is required, no video needed. Please note: registration is required five days before the first class date.
