NORDIC WALKING
(Ages 15+)
Nordic walking is defined as fitness walking with specially designed poles.
Compared to regular walking, Nordic walking (also called pole walking)
involves applying force to the poles with each stride. Nordic walkers use
more of their entire body (with greater intensity) and receive fitness
building stimulation not present in normal walking for the chest, lats, triceps,
biceps, shoulder, abdominals, spinal and other core muscles that may result
in significant increases in heart rate at a given pace. Nordic walking can
produce up to a 46% increase in energy consumption compared to walking
without poles. It also has been demonstrated to increase upper body muscle
endurance by 38% in just twelve weeks. A new park will be visited each week.

SRS-STRENGTH/RESISTANCE/STRETCH
(Ages 15+)
Defy the aging process! Keep the muscle tone and strength of your youth.
Stay healthy and strong with the use of weighted body bars, dumbbells
and tubes. The program design will switch from strength to endurance or
from endurance to integrated functional movement patterns periodically
(periodization training), which will help you avoid training plateaus. This class
is for all fitness levels.

STEP N STRETCH INTERVAL
(Ages 18+)
You will burn fat and shed the extra pounds more efficiently. There is no
difficult choreography to follow. Short work intervals are followed by active
rest. This type of exercise uses the aerobic and anaerobic energy systems,
which burns additional calories, even hours after your last workout. Instructor
will show you ways to modify or rev up each exercise. Please bring a water
bottle, mat and face towel to class. Use of stability ball will be decided by the
class.

BOOT CAMP
(Ages 15+)
Go the extra step and push yourself to achieve your goals. This class will
combine cardiovascular, endurance, and strength training using dumbbells,
barbells, tubes, and body weight exercises. Through challenging, yet, fun and
safe exercises, you will get a total body workout and will feel more energized.
Receive a $35 discount when registering for all three classes.

TOTAL BODY SCULPT
(Ages 15+)
Increase lean body mass and burn fat by working the upper and lower body
simultaneously. This class will use dumbbells, resistance band, steps, and
stability balls. We will challenge balance, core strength, flexibility,
and mind agility throughout this class. Participants must bring
their own mat to each class and a stability ball to class the first
Monday of the month.

WALKING CLUB
(Ages 15+)
Walking keeps everybody tuned up, gets your heart stimulated, challenges
you to stand up straight, and coordinates your movements. Walking uses
your body's weight to build and maintain bone density. Bring a water bottle,
wear supportive shoes, and dress for the weather including rain. There will
be classroom walking exercises on poor weather days. You will receive a $10
discount if you register for both classes in the same session.

THE ESSENTIALS
(Ages 15+)
A perfectly blended workout using body resistance and light weights to target
the entire body. Helps to strengthen the core, sculpt the glutes and thighs, and
tone the arms. Please bring a yoga mat and towel.
