STAGE STARS
(Ages 8-11)
In Stage Stars children will learn theater terms, play games, and act in short
skits. During theater games, students will use their creativity to communicate
and improvise. The carefully selected skits are based on folk tales that teach
cooperation and positive moral values. Every student will have the opportunity
to play at least one lead role per session. Stage Stars participants can earn
prizes for identifying and explaining parts of a skit and goals of the characters.
Each child will receive a participation award. Parents are invited to attend the
final performance on the last day of class! Spring Break camp is offered in
session three. Refunds must be completed three business days before the
start of class.

AMIGOS SPANISH CLUB
(Ages 5-10)
Learning Spanish is as easy as uno, dos, tres! In Afterschool Amigos Spanish
club, children will learn numbers, colors, shapes, greetings, days of the week,
and more. We will be singing, clapping, and counting our way towards learning
the Spanish Language. Each child will receive a participation award. Refunds
must be completed three business days before the start of class.

CRYSTAL CONNECTIONS
(Ages 10-17)
Crystals are beautiful and in this class you will be part of a human crystal and
make a bigger than life crystal and then make a model of a water molecule.
We will also form an ice crystal, use real ice to make ice cream, and take home
a crystal making kit, and bath crystals!

CHESS SCHOLARS
(Ages 5-12)
Each class will consist of a fun interactive teaching period and guided practice
time. Both new and returning participants will get to the next level under the
guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach. No previous knowledge
of chess is necessary; players of all levels are welcome. Children will have an
opportunity to test for a Chess Belt® under a unique Chess Scholars system
patterned after martial arts belts. There will also be a chess competition with
prizes at the end of the session!

This camp is designed for both beginners and experienced young players. All
participants learn cool new strategies at the appropriate level from a renowned
Chess Scholars coach. Each class will consist of a fun interactive teaching
period and guided practice time. Children will have an opportunity to test for
a Chess Belt® under a unique Chess Scholars system patterned after martial
arts belts. There will also be a chess competition with prizes! Each camper will
take home a chess set and an award. Please bring your own snacks.
