YOGA FOR OLDER ADULTS
(Ages 18+)
Gently restore the mind and body! Develop fundamental postures, breath
control, and relaxation. We lose flexibility as we age. Let's increase range of
motion so we can continue doing the things we used to be able to do. This class
is structured for those new to yoga or those revisiting yoga after many years.
Instructor is certified in 200 hours Hatha Yoga (Anusara Style Principles),
plus studying 500 hours of Hatha Yoga (Iyengar Style Principles). Additional
certifications are with YogaFit and A.C.E. Participants will be responsible for
bringing their own yoga sticky mat, yoga straps, and yoga blocks.

CHAIR YOGA
(Ages 18+)
Do you often feel weak and tired? Do you experience low energy and
physical limitations? There is no age limit for reaping the benefits of yoga.
We will be doing yoga seated and standing poses next to a chair to address
movement and balance limitations. This class will focus on improving your
range of motion, strength and flexibility, concentration and coordination,
balance, posture, alignment, and breathing. Join us and share the wisdom of
Yoga. Participants will be responsible for bringing their own yoga sticky mat,
yoga straps, and yoga blocks. Instructor is certified in 200 hours Hatha Yoga,
YogaFit, and A.C.E.

TAI CHI CHUAN
(Ages 13+)
Through practice your mind can achieve a stillness and clarity rarely
experienced with other forms of exercise; integrating your body, mind,
and spirit and helping you to achieve inner peace. Practice strengthens the
immune system, improves posture, balance, coordination, flexibility and
strength, and reduces blood pressure, stress and releases tension allowing a
feeling of positive energy to flow through your body.

KIDS YOGA
(Ages 8-10)
Keep your child active and flexible this winter! This new class is
designed to introduce/continue to foster yoga practice among children who
are too old for a parent/child class but too young for pre-teen. Great for focus,
flexibility, and core strength. Please bring a yoga mat.

VINYASA FLOW YOGA
(Ages 15+)
A blending of yoga postures with synchronized breath and smooth
movement. Vinyasa Flow Yoga increases strength and flexibility
while calming and steadying the mind.

SUNSET YOGA
(Ages 15+)
A perfect class to end a stressful day! This Hatha yoga class (inspired by
Anusara and Iyengar yoga alignment principals) is designed for anybody who
would like to improve their stamina in strength, balance, and flexibility. This is
a great class to unload the stresses from day to day living. Come join us and
melt your stress away with our 10-minute meditation done at the end of each
class. Instructor is certified in 200 hours of Hatha Yoga, YogaFit, and A.C.E.
Participants must bring the following props: two yoga blocks, a yoga strap, a
yoga mat, and a small cushion (optional).
