YOUTH ATHLETICS
FALL YOUTH SOCCER
(Ages 4–grade 9)
Give your child the opportunity to experience the world's most popular sport!
Participants will learn and improve their soccer skills and share in the fun and
camaraderie at the heart of youth sports in this program. Teams practice once
per week (weather permitting) on a day, time, and location determined by
your coach. Teams will hold at least one practice before their first game of the
season. Games are approximately one hour on Saturdays. If rainouts occur,
games will be rescheduled for an additional Saturday at the end of the season
or on weekday evenings. Volunteer coaches are encouraged to apply as soon
as possible to secure a team for the season. Shin guards are required. Boys and
girls grades 5/6 may be combined and formed into co-rec teams if not enough
players are registered. **Grades 5+ will combine with Glen Ellyn Park District
and play some games at Ackerman Park in Glen Ellyn.

• Requests for teams, players, or coaches will not be guaranteed; consult
the Team Formation Guidelines on our website for team selection
standards.

• Upon registering you will need to:
• Fill out Youth Sports Information Form at
www.lombardparks.com or at SKRC.
• Purchase a game jersey for $18 at SKRC (except Pre-K
leagues).
IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER
8/08: Final registration deadline; all registrants after this date are wait-listed
and not guaranteed a spot in the program.
8/28: Any withdrawals from program are subject to a $10 processing fee
after this date.
9/5: Games start (Grades 5+ may start on 8/30)
9/18: Final date to withdraw and receive a pro-rated refund. No refunds
after this date.
LITTLE KICKERS SOCCER
(Age 3 and parent)
Is your little soccer enthusiast not quite old enough for the Spring Youth
Soccer League? This class will focus primarily on age-appropriate games to
help acclimate your young one to soccer and teach them the basics. Many of
the activities will involve both the child and parent. All participants will receive
a t-shirt. This class will be taught by experienced instructors. Required items:
comfortable clothes, water bottle, and parent.

INDOOR SOCCER
(Ages 4-10)
This program enables your soccer enthusiast to continue their skill
development through fun games and drills, as well as scrimmaging. This
program emphasizes instruction and skill building and does not have formal
games. If interested in assisting with the program, please call Jim Huetson
at (630) 620-7322. Required items: shin guards, gym shoes (no cleats).
