Winter 2016 Activity Guide | 51 FIT4BABY PRENATAL CLASS (Ages 16 +) Fit4Baby® is a program designed to strengthen the body for all the changes it will experience during pregnancy. The class includes cardio, strength, flexibility, and balance training. Fit4Baby is designed to accommodate all stages of pregnancy. Our instructors are certified and trained specifically to lead our pregnant clients through exercises safely and appropriate for her changing body. These classes are for moms only. This class will challenge you both aerobically and anaerobically by doing short segments of cardiovascular training with kickboxing, followed by short segments of multi-muscle toning. Learn how to gain strength in your abdominal muscles, without doing a bunch of crunches, with PilatesMat. This class will be split between core work and body sculpting with the use of body bars, dumbbells, tubes and bands, and stability ball. Please bring your own stability ball on the third week of class. This aerobic/ fitness interval training combines fast and slow rhythms with dance inspired exercises to tone and sculpt your body, top to bottom. Zumba is based on the principle that a workout should be fun and easy to do. You don't have to know how to dance to Zumba. It's a "Feel Happy" workout! This full aerobic workout begins with a blend of yoga stretches and gradually progresses to more accelerated and isometric types of movements. Most movements are performed while seated and all movements can be adjusted to all ability levels. Receive a $24 discount when registering for both classes.
