Spring 2016 Activity Guide | 53 THE ESSENTIALS (Ages 15 +) A perfectly blended workout using body resistance and light weights to target the entire body. Helps to strengthen the core, sculpt the glutes and thighs, and tone the arms. Please bring a yoga mat and towel. If you are interested in two classes a week for a full workout, this class would pair nicely with Thursday evening's Barre Fit. Instructor is ACE Certified. In this class, you will examine the signs of stress, its causes and consequences along with how it affects performance. Learn several practical techniques for the immediate relief of stress, enabling you to cope with stressful situations. Learn to manage chronic and long-term stress and how to make yourself more stress-resistant. The methods you will learn can help you be healthier, happier and more productive; you will have less sick days, more leisure time and enjoy life more. This aerobic/ fitness interval training combines fast and slow rhythms with dance inspired exercises to tone and sculpt your body, top to bottom. Zumba is based on the principle that a workout should be fun and easy to do. You don't have to know how to dance to Zumba. It's a "Feel Happy" workout!
