21 lombardparks.com | (630) 620-7322 Summer Camp JUNIOR DAY CAMP (Ages 6-9) Ready for an energetic, fun-filled summer? Junior Day Camp provides children with a wide array of activities ranging from indoor/outdoor games, team sports, crafts, and themed events. During each two-week camp session, campers will experience two field trips via school bus and either a walking trip or extra pool day. If registering your camper for the Pick Your Day (PYD) option field trips, walking trips, and/or pool days, may not be included in the days that you pick. PYD registration for field trip days will increase in price. Field trip fees are included in all camp packages except for PYD. All campers attending camp the day of a field trip are required to go on the trip. Camp meets at the Lombard Community Building every Monday and Wednesday during the summer and visits Paradise Bay Water Park in the afternoon. If weather is inclement on pool days, camp will still be held at the Lombard Community Building. A t-shirt is included in the Day Camp fee, and should be worn on all field trips and pool days. Participants should bring a sack lunch, water bottle, and a towel every day to camp. Three and five day packages must be attended within the same week. Day Camp Packets will be handed out at the time of registration at Sunset Knoll or are available on our website. Forms must be handed in before first day of Camp. If families have campers in both Junior and Senior Camp, a bus will be picking up Senior Campers at Pleasant Lane Elementary School every morning at 9:00 am and will transport Senior Campers to the Lombard Community Building. The bus will arrive back at Pleasant Lane Elementary with Senior Campers to be picked up at 3:30 pm. If picking up a Senior Camper earlier then 3:30 pm, pick up is at the Lombard Community Building.
