Senior Exercise is moderately- paced with aerobic routines set to music and geared toward active adults. Senior Strength Training focuses on maintaining muscle tone and developing strength by working out to music with light weights, bands, etc. Both classes are a full body workout taught by an instructor with extensive senior fitness teaching experience. Participants purchase a punch card, good for either class and used only when classes are attended. You may join at any time. Consult your physician before registering. This class is designed for all fitness levels and will keep your body blasting calories hours past your workout. This class will challenge you both aerobically and anaerobically by doing short segments of cardiovascular training with kickboxing, followed by short segments of multi-muscle toning. This aerobic/ fitness interval training combines fast and slow rhythms with dance inspired exercises to tone and sculpt your body, top to bottom. Zumba is based on the principle that a workout should be fun and easy to do. You don't have to know how to dance to Zumba. It's a "feel happy" workout!
