page 53 group fitness ZUMBA WITH LISA (Ages 18 +) Zumba is a Latin and international dance-inspired cardio fitness exercise which combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves. This aerobic/fitness interval training combines fast and slow rhythms with dance inspired exercises to tone and sculpt your body, top to bottom. Zumba is based on the principle that a workout should be fun and easy to do. You don't have to know how to dance to Zumba. It's a "Feel Happy" workout! (Ages 15 +) An innovative "sit down" exercise class for the beginner to exercise or the participants with limited range of motion. This full aerobic workout begins with a blend of yoga stretches and gradually progresses to more accelerated and isometric types of movements. Most movements are performed while seated and all movements can be adjusted to all ability levels. The hour will be filled with fun, easy-to-follow cardiovascular conditioning to improve your stamina and strengthening to define your muscles. The instructor is A.C.E. certified. All four main components of fitness will be addressed: strength, cardio (speed), balance (core) and flexibility.
