Survey Indications
Out of the top fi ve programs the Distirct
has a need for, four of the fi ve are only
being met by 50% or less. Culinary
programs, adult fi tness and wellness
programs, outdoor nature programs, and
community special events are all needed
and unmet--making these programs
a priority for future planning and
programming. The other program in the
top fi ve unmet needs is water fi tness.
District residents show a strong, but not
overwhelming, support for development
of indoor aquatics, development of a
recreation center, and acquisition of land
for open space. Actions that were not
seen as priorities for the District residents
included improvements to the Western
Acres Club House and drainage issues.
