WALKING CLUB
BEGINNING TAI CHI
(Ages 15 +)
Walking keeps everybody tuned up, gets your heart stimulated, challenges
you to stand up straight and coordinates your movements. Walking uses
your body's weight to build and maintain bone density. Join us at Sunset
Knolls Mondays and Wednesdays at Lombard Community Building.
Bring a water bottle, wear supportive shoes, and dress for the weather.
There will be classroom discussion on poor weather days. $12 discount if
registered for both classes. (10 weeks)

T'ai Chi for Health is a gentle, beautiful and flowing exercise routine
that is a joy to do, energizing and deeply relaxing. The movements are
done naturally and gently. The gentle rocking motions and stretching
help improve circulation and digestion, and reduce physical tension. The
controlled breathing helps reduce stress and anxiety. It helps regulate
heart rate and blood pressure, boosting energy. Students may choose to
sit or stand as needed. (6 weeks)

anyone's workout regime "The essentials." Helps with strength, flexibility
and abdominal toning. Designed to improve toning in arms, legs and abs.

A new workout that is intense but very easy-to-follow! You will
burn fat and shed the extra pounds more efficiently. It truly fires up
your metabolism to burn hundreds of calories. There is no difficult
choreography to follow. Short work intervals are followed by active rest.
You can work at your own level so you'll only be competing against
yourself. You don't have to try to keep up with others. As you progress
you will feel fit and strong. This will enable you to work at a higher level
than before. This type of exercise uses the aerobic and anaerobic energy
systems, which burns additional calories even hours after your last
workout. Instructor will show you ways to modify or rev up each exercise.
Please bring a water bottle, mat, and face towel to class. Use of stability
ball will be decided in class. (10 weeks)
