55 activity guide autumn 2015 SENIOR FITNESS (Ages 55+) Participants of all levels will increase strength, range of motion, balance, and mind agility through the use of simple dance moves to music, use of light dumb bells, resistance bands, and balls. This class is a fun way to stay healthy and fit. Please bring a mat to class each week. This innovative program is composed of 21 simple tools for lifelong comfort and ease. We lubricate our joints, strengthen our muscles, exercise our brains, and improve our flexibility, hand-eye coordination, breath, balance, and tickle our funny bones! We practice barefoot to improve the flexibility and strength in our feet (or wear your favorite socks). Come and experience movement as you did when you were a kid and feel younger with every workout. It's never too late to begin. Ageless Grace is a Silver Sneakers Flex Program. The combination of movements challenge the entire body, giving a total-body workout by the time the class is over. While Yo-Chi is perfect for beginners, experienced exercisers will benefit as well. No previous experience with yoga or Tai Chi is necessary. This fusion program provides stability, strength, mobility, and flexibility as we combine the two oldest mind body programs that still exist today. Please bring a mat and a water bottle.
