WILMOT MOUNTAIN TEEN SKI TRIP
(Ages 11-14)
Grab your friends and join teens from across the area as we take over Wilmot
Mountain Ski Resort in Wilmot, Wisconsin for one very cool school day off!
Never skied or snowboarded before? No problem! Free ski and snowboard
lessons for beginners will be running all day. When you're ready for a break from
the cold, stop inside to hang out in the video game room and snack bar. All
costs are included except snacks, so teens should bring money for food. Fees
include lift, a complimentary lesson for all skill levels, and transportation. The
group will meet and check in at Lombard Community Building. Register early
because spaces are limited! Registration deadline is January 3. No refunds after
registration deadline.

Which animal is the most venomous on Earth yet has no brain or eyes? You'll
learn the answer to this question and more if you attend this fun, hands-on
class! Learn about jellyfish and their lifecycle, where they live, their predators,
and what they eat as you make a lapbook about them, conduct experiments on
buoyancy, and create an oversized model of a jellyfish you can take home.

VALENTINE SCIENCE

There's more to Valentine's Day than candy hearts and cards...there's also
science! In this fun, hands-on class, you'll make hearts dance and fizz; write
mysterious valentine messages with invisible ink; do some target practice with
Cupid's arrow; and make a tasty valentine treat. Refund requests must be made

Evaporation, precipitation, condensation. Learn what these words mean and
more in this very hands-on lab class. Each stage of the water cycle will be explored
and we'll study why it is important to humans. Please bring an oversized t-shirt
to wear over your clothes because we'll be doing a lot of experiments with water.

ROBOTICS ADVENTURES
(Ages 6-8)
Yes, we can learn about Robotics! With the LEGO™ WeDo Robotics System,
young children can build and program their own robotic creations. Designed by
the experts at MIT, this unique system teaches children about simple machines,
engineering, programming and so much more. Young imaginations soar!
